Casali provided comprehensive project management on this project for Harvard University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences. The Center is a multi-phase, multi-million dollar, two building complex.
This project presented many challenges to which Casali’s multi- disciplinary project team approach has proven effective. Bordering a residential neighborhood, Casali developed and implemented a neighborhood outreach program that is now used as a prototype by Harvard University. Upfront site logistic and construction mitigation planning were also essential to the success of this complex, which included: extensive utility relocation; relocation and renovation of several wood frame residential buildings; and temporary pedestrian and vehicular egress. Casali provided graphics for all site mitigation efforts, architectural design support, and FFE design & procurement.
